A couple started their vacation in Switzerland by a dream flight, but for the husband what was supposed to be his first dream flight on a hang glider turned out to be a scary flight as he hanged for his life for over than 2 minutes after the pilot did a critical mistake by not attaching his harness to the glider.
My first time Hang Gliding turned into a near death experience as my safety harness was never hooked to the Glider. For 2 Min. 14 seconds I had to hang on for my life! The landing was a rough one, but I lived to tell the story.
Luckily he lived to tell the story after the pilot did his best to land quickly and get him as low as possible from the ground where he had a tough landing which resulted in a fragmented distal radius fracture in his right wrist.
Thanks to his brave attitude and the pilot’s efforts his first flight ended in the best way it could.
I’ll go hang gliding again as I did not get to enjoy my first flight
