National Geographic Travel website is now accepting the submissions for the yearly big contest for Photographer of the year in 3 categories Nature, Cities, and People.

Each year thousands of photographers from all over the world submit many gorgeous images to the contest and this year the judges are looking for photos that tell the story of a place and travel moments that inspire.

Grand Prize

The Grand Prize is A 10-day trip for two to the Galápagos Islands with National Geographic Expeditions.

Category Winners

Each category will feature 3 winners:

First place $2,500
Second place $750
Third place $500
